These terms describe the use of Goblinist's websites, compendiums, tools and community features. Please read them before creating an account or contributing. The Community guidelines also explain the standards expected in discussions.

Your account

Provide an email address you are entitled to use and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. Do not share an account to evade a restriction or pretend to be another person. Let the site moderator know about suspected misuse through the available reporting tools.

If you are not legally able to enter an agreement yourself, use account features only with any permission required from a parent or guardian. Goblinist is not intended for children under 13.

Acceptable use

Do not use Goblinist for unlawful activity, harassment, threats, fraud, spam, infringement or sharing private information without permission. Do not attempt to access another person's account, bypass access controls, interfere with the service or manipulate community activity. Automated use must respect the site's access controls and rate limits.

What you contribute

You keep ownership of original material you contribute. By submitting it, you give Goblinist a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, format, display and make the material available as needed to operate the service, including backups and moderation. This does not transfer ownership or grant other visitors a general right to reuse your work.

Submit only material you have the rights or permission to share. Do not post someone else's copyrighted material merely because it is available online. Where a licence requires attribution or other conditions, include the necessary information and follow those conditions.

You can edit or remove contributions where the service provides that option. Copies may remain temporarily in backups, moderation records or quoted replies, and we may retain material where needed to meet legal obligations. Do not include sensitive personal information in public posts.

Game rules, names, trademarks, artwork and quoted material may belong to their respective owners. Any specific licence or permission notice takes precedence for that material. Goblinist's presence of that material does not grant you additional rights. External sites have their own terms and privacy practices.

Moderation and access

We may remove or restrict content and accounts for breaches of these terms, the community guidelines, legal requirements or a material risk to other users or the service. Where practical, we will explain a restriction and consider a good-faith request to correct a mistake. Urgent safety or security issues may require action first.

Availability and accuracy

Goblinist is a game reference and community resource. Pages, tools and member contributions can contain mistakes, reflect a particular edition or become outdated. Check relevant official material when accuracy matters. We may change or withdraw features and cannot promise uninterrupted availability.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or removes any consumer or other statutory rights you have. These terms do not require you to give up rights or remedies provided by applicable law.

Privacy

Our Privacy & analytics page explains the site's traffic counting and analytics choices. Account, email and public contribution information is used to provide the features you request. Do not post information you would not want other visitors to read.

Changes to these terms

The update date on this page identifies the current text. Material changes will be brought to users' attention where appropriate and will not be applied retrospectively to remove rights they already have. If a change affects whether you want to contribute, you can stop using account features.

Reporting a concern

Use Report on the relevant post or comment for content, conduct or copyright concerns. Identify the material, explain the issue and, for a rights concern, state your connection to the rights holder and provide a supporting source. For account access problems, use password recovery from the sign-in page.
